Since joining Galtec in 2006, I’ve progressed from Finance Assistant to Finance Manager, and in 2017 was elevated to the position of Finance Director. Alongside heading the Finance Department and overseeing the commercial interests of the company, I am the Company Secretary and also responsible for HR and the retention of our ISO 9001 & 14001 accreditations.

Jamie Bowes, Technical Director

My role at Galtec is to manage the programme of Professional and Managed Services delivered to our customers. I am responsible for ensuring that all elements of support and project delivery meet Galtec’s baselined quality standards, deployed against ITIL v4, Prince2 and Agile methodologies.

My role oversees the IT strategy of Galtec’s infrastructure, security principles, audits and test and development pipelines.

Since joining Galtec Solutions in 2008 I’ve had the privilege of watching the business grow, working alongside some of the best staff in the business.

Collaborating with some of the largest organisations in the country, I direct Galtec’s sales team and promote a combined partnership approach, working alongside every client to provide the complete solution provider experience for our valued customers.

Since starting at Galtec Solutions as an Account Manager, I have grown enterprise business across a number of key accounts, earning the position of Sales Manager.

With over a decade of experience of Supply Chain Management, I am best placed to support the sales team in sourcing high value, fast delivery goods, backed by industry best practice services.

My role at Galtec has progressed from starting as an Account Manager in 2016 and working my way into the management team as Sales Manager. I support a team of account managers and offer guidance to ensure their growth, success and independence. My experience in sales has allowed me to develop into senior management and I expect to keep delivering high quality service for both new and existing customers, maintaining relationships with a wide range of IT Professionals.

I started my journey at Galtec at 17 years old as an apprentice. In the 8 years that followed I have strived to ensure end users receive the best service possible on deliveries. Now as I move into management, I will continue to provide great service and use my strong relationships within the industry to ensure the smooth transaction of sales, including overseeing all purchasing for the business, both in terms of internal and for our customers.

In my spare time, I am an avid Leeds United fan, having being a season ticket holder for over 20 years.

I have recently joined Galtec as sales manager after 6 years in the IT industry, combining a diploma in IT system and support with a strong background in sales and industry contacts, it is my job to ensure that me or my team find you the best possible solution for your IT problems at the best possible price.
