Terms & Conditions
When you spend over £2000 +VAT on any IT products or services you will receive a Galtec chocolate bar that will contain a ticket. There are 500 bars in total, 10 of which hold a Golden Ticket, the remainder hold a white ticket which unfortunately means the recipient hasn’t won on this occasion.
However remember there is no limit on how many Galtec Chocolate bars a customer can receive; every qualifying order will receive one chocolate bar.
The holder of a Golden Ticket will win the choice of the following;
A Hamper up to the value of £50
£50 Shopping Vouchers
£50 Credit on their account.
Winners will also qualify for entry into a prize draw for a chance to win £2000 worth of holiday vouchers.
To receive a Galtec Chocolate bar the customer will need to place an order for £2000 +VAT or more on one order.
The promotion is open from 8th October 2013 until stocks last.
Customers who find a Golden Ticket will be entered into a free prize draw to win the following prize:
£2000 worth of Holiday Vouchers!
One winner will be selected in a random draw from all valid entries received.
This Draw will take place once the 10 Golden Tickets have been claimed.
The prize does not include travel expenses and any other costs of a personal nature connected with the prize, which will be the sole responsibility of the individual.
The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for any cash alternative in whole or in part. However, Galtec reserves the right to provide an alternative prize of equal or greater value in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
Galtec Solutions Ltd accepts no responsibility for late, incomplete, incorrectly submitted, corrupted, damaged, lost or misdirected entries.
Proof of sending is not proof of receipt. No responsibility will be taken for telecommunication or website error.
If for any reason any aspect of the prize draw is not capable of running as planned, including by reason of infection by computer virus, network failure, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any cause beyond the control of Galtec which corrupts or affects the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the prize draw,
Galtec may in its sole discretion cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the prize draw, or invalidate any affected entries.
The winner shall, at Galtec’s request, participate in all reasonable promotional activity (such as publicity and photography) surrounding the winning of the prize for no further consideration, and shall agree to Galtec using their name and image in promotional material.
None of Galtec, its associated agencies and organisations will be liable for any loss, expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with the prize draw or accepting or using the prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including fraud or personal injury or death due to negligence) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.
Any person submitting an entry for the prize draw agrees to receive email communication from Galtec about the prize draw, together with any other communications.
Any person submitting an entry for the prize draw is providing information to Galtec Solutions Ltd. Galtec Solutions Ltd shall use any information obtained in accordance with Galtec’s
The terms and conditions set out below apply to the promotion.
- To be entitled to redeem the Golden Ticket claimants must:
1. be a UK (including residents of the Channel Islands, Isles of Scilly and Isle Of Man) resident
2. be 18 years old or over
3. be employed by a customer of Galtec Solutions Ltd
Employees of Galtec or any company involved in the promotion or, if relevant, production of a website or print media for the promotion, or any advertising agency or web company connected with the promoter or any such person’s subsidiary or associated companies, agents or members of their families or households, are not eligible to redeem a Golden Ticket.
Golden Ticket Entitlement
Golden Ticket holders will be entitled to redeem it to receive one of the prizes which are detailed on their individual ticket. Travel expenses to claim the prize will not be included and must be covered by the prize winner.
The Golden Ticket entitlement is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative.
To redeem the Golden Ticket, please email: email@example.com quoting the Golden Ticket unique reference number.
You will be required to submit: either a scanned copy or a photograph of the Golden Ticket within 5 working days of receiving the chocolate bar.
Once all Golden Tickets have been claimed, all Golden Ticket holders will be invited to the prize draw to be held at Galtec Solutions Ltd Head Office, Bridge End House, Low Lane, Horsforth, Leeds,
Golden Ticket Holders will be notified of the prize draw date at least 14 days before the draw takes place.
Should a Golden Ticket holder be unable to attend on the day of the draw they may send a representative to be present on their behalf.
If for any reason a Golden Ticket holder (or his/her representative) is unable to attend, they will still be included in the draw and will be notified of the result within five working days.
Data Protection and Publicity
- Golden Ticket holders may be requested, for a reasonable period after the promotion closes, to take part in promotional activity and the promoter reserves the right to use the names and addresses of Golden Ticker holders, their photographs and audio and/or visual recordings of them in any publicity.
Any personal data relating to Golden Ticket holders will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation.
Galtec reserves the right to cancel or amend the promotion at any time without notice.
In the event of any dispute regarding these terms and conditions, the conduct of this promotion, the results and all other matters relating to the promotion, the decision of the promoter shall be final and no correspondence or discussion shall be entered into.
Galtec Solutions Ltd do not accept any responsibility for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by any Golden Ticket holder who redeems the Golden Ticket.
Galtec Solutions Ltd is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer on-line systems, servers, or providers, computer equipment or software, failure of any email or entry to be received on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet, telephone lines or at any web site, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to claimant’s or any other person’s computer or mobile telephone related to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in the promotion.
The promotion and these terms and conditions will be governed by English law and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
